Gears and Cheers: SCV's Tour de Froth 🚴‍♂️🍺

Watercolor Workshop Comes to Town 🎨

The Santa Clarita Artists Association is hosting a "Painting Waterscapes in Watercolor" workshop that promises to turn your "happy little accidents" into masterful marine scenes.

On October 18th, the talented Keiko Tanabe will teach you how to turn ordinary H2O into works of art at the Stevenson Ranch Library. From gentle waves to shimmering reflections, you'll capture it all. Just remember, if you accidentally drink the paint water, that's not how you become one with your art.

The beloved Saugus Swap Meet is once again the talk of the town as it heads back to the Planning Commission. The proposed Riverwalk project is looking to transform this treasure trove of trinkets into a new neighborhood complete with 318 homes and a warehouse.

Current owner Doug Bonelli seems ready to turn the page on this chapter of SCV history. But the big question on everyone's minds: Where will we go for our weekend wanderings through aisles of unexpected finds? The fate of our favorite local flea market hangs in the balance, folks.
