SCV Classrooms Go Full "Ready Player One" 🥽

The William S. Hart Union High School District is stepping into the future… and it's wearing a VR headset. This summer, they introduced virtual reality into their career technical education courses, proving that "hands-on learning" can happen even when your hands are waving around in the air.

With 10 new VR headsets, students can now explore over 300 simulations covering 23 high-priority careers.

The best part? The system provides feedback on students' skills, helping them identify their strengths and weaknesses. It's like having a personal career coach, minus the motivational speeches and power suits.

SCV Gets Vote-Ready 🗳️

National Voter Registration Day is coming up on September 17th, and it's time to flex those democratic muscles. Whether you're a first-time voter or just need to update your info, now's your chance to join the cool kids' club (aka registered voters).

Swing by City Hall or any Santa Clarita Public Library branch to grab a registration form. Or, if you prefer to exercise your right to vote while in your PJs, head to LAVote.gov and do it online.
