🎬 Free outdoor movies are back! City Cinemas returns this summer with a blockbuster lineup of family favorites and iconic classics (plus food trucks, park vibes, and picnic blanket weather). Catch a movie under the stars every fourth Friday from June through September at parks and facilities across Santa Clarita. Here's what’s playing:

🎬 Lights, camera… silence! The Newhallywood Silent Film Festival returns May 23–25 for a three-day celebration of Hollywood’s earliest icons right here in Old Town Newhall. Held at both the Newhall Family Theatre and The MAIN, the festival features legendary titles like Phantom of the Opera and Battleship Potemkin with live musical accompaniment, plus special guest appearances and awards honoring early cinema trailblazers.

Highlights include:
– A Buster Keaton Centennial Screening of Go West (May 23)
Lon Chaney Centennial + “Phantom” screening with his great-grandson Ron Chaney (May 24)
Sergei Eisenstein tribute with Battleship Potemkin (May 25)

⚾️ Play like a Dodger this summer! The Dodgers Youth Baseball & Softball Camps are sliding into Santa Clarita July 14–16 at William S. Hart Pony Baseball & Softball. Kids ages 4–14 can level up their game with expert coaching, fun drills, live scrimmages, and official Dodgers gear (plus tickets to a real Dodgers game!)

There are two camp options:
👉 Mini Dodgers (Ages 4–6): A fun intro to the game, starting at $257
👉 All-Skills Camp (Ages 7–14): More advanced coaching, games, and competitions, starting at $309

⏰ Camps run 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with extended hours available for older campers.
🎁 Includes a Dodgers jersey, team photo with an alumni player, and daily giveaways!
