Helping Hands Amidst the Ashes 🤝 

The LA fires have been absolutely devastating, but here’s your chance to step up. Tomorrow, January 15, from 3-6 PM, the Child & Family Center and Baby2Baby are hosting a donation drive to help families rebuild…literally and figuratively.

They’re asking for essential items—think diapers, toothpaste, blankets, and activity books—to give families some much-needed relief. All donations go straight to families in LA County, so you can rest easy knowing you’re making a difference.

Homelessness: Let’s Talk Solutions 🏡

Here’s a chance to flex your civic muscles—LA County is hosting a webinar on Thursday, January 16, from 10 AM to 12 PM, to discuss their shiny new Draft Funding Recommendations for the 2025-26 fiscal year.

Translation: They’re going to tell you how they plan to spend Measure A dollars (and state grant money) to house people, prevent homelessness, and tackle some really big challenges. Plus, you get to chime in with your thoughts because democracy, baby.

Hop on the webinar, learn something new, and maybe even help shape the future. Public comment is open from January 16-28.

Teen Turf Wars with a Side of Soccer ⚽️ 

“The Wolves” is part play, part nostalgia bomb, and 100% worth your time. This hilarious and heartfelt show dives into the chaotic lives of a girls’ indoor soccer team. Spoiler alert: They’re messy, they’re dramatic, and they’re just trying to figure life out (relatable, right?).
